Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She is gaining recognition for her outstanding performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. The actress won numerous awards, including an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. Her career began as an actress on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. Acting has always been her obsession. In fifth grade, she was cast as Helen Keller in an original production. In the fifth grade, after having mumps she lost her hearing in her left ear. However, she did not let that stop her. When she was a teenager she studied drama, before moving in New York City. Hunter met Beth Henley by chance in an lift. They wrote together Broadway Crimes of the Heart. It was Hunter's acting debut. After moving into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to get films to play. A supporting role was securing for Swing Shift. In the last three decades she's appeared in many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
