Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor, and businesswoman born in Australia. She began her career in Australia before moving to Hollywood, where she has achieved great successes. George is a native of Perth in Western Australia, was initially interested in dance and artistic roller-skating. When she was in 1992, she started her career as a model when she was at the teen years. She was voted Western Australia's teenager Model Of The Year in 1992. That same year, she made an appearance on the screen in an episode of Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away. When she made her first appearance on screen with Dark City's mystery thriller, she played a variety of secondary roles in Alias The Limey, Down with Love and a variety of other shows prior to her debut as a female protagonist in the mainstream of Hollywood for the 2005 remake The Amityville Horror. The actress is one of Hollywood's most sought after Australian expatriates. George being an entrepreneur, has launched her own products Style Snaps on the market.
